ABOUT THE FOUNDER
Gallery44 was founded by Jino Murad - an interior designer, curator, and long-time collector deeply rooted in both the Middle East and North African region and London.
With over two decades of experience in the interior design industry, Jino brings a sharp spatial sensibility and a deep passion for platforming emerging voices. She launched Gallery44 to carve out a space where artists and creatives can thrive outside conventional gallery systems.
Splitting her time between Dubai and London, Jino saw firsthand how underrepresented MENA voices were in Western art circuits — despite their vibrant contributions.
Gallery44 was born out of the belief that visibility is not enough — artists deserve championing.

The gallery is curated as a home, a platform, and a place of conversation. Jino brings her design eye, cultural fluency, and collector’s perspective to every detail - offering artists not just a room to show work, but a space to belong.
After years of consulting on art and interiors, she converted her Primrose Hill townhouse into a hybrid exhibition and residency space: personal, intentional, and rooted in care.
Her mission is to nurture dialogue across borders, generations, and disciplines - and to cultivate an art culture grounded in care, connection, and creative exchange.
