Raya Kassisieh

Raya Kassisieh seated beside a white fireplace in a dark shirt and trousers, looking at the camera.

Raya Kassisieh (b. 1991) lives and works between Amman and London. Her multidisciplinary practice explores the politics of the body. Through sculptural recreations of natural forms and archival objects she works with soft and hard materials, from steel and copper to silks, wools and cotton, proposing the body as a pliable form.
